Claire is my first Border Terrier. She is a very happy and active young dog. We love to compete in a wide range of sports such as conformation, rally, coursing, barn hunt, and NASDA trailing and locating. We have also trained in tracking, obedience, and agility. Claire earned the Versatility Award from the Border Terrier Club of America in December 2023.

On April 8, 2024 Claire gave birth to two girls sired by Sully more formally known as CH Scentsible Shenanigans At Primrose RE BCAT CGCA CGCU TKA RATN V. The girls had litter names of MoonPie and StarCrunch as they were born on the day of the total solar eclipse. Claire was an exceptional mother. She was very attentive and gentle with them. She was very conscious of keeping them and the whelping box clean. She constantly made sure they were not hungry. I can’t imagine a better mother for my first time raising a litter of puppies. 

Since having her first litter, Claire returned to the conformation ring where she earned her Grand Championship title with the AKC. She also competed in Earthdog and it quickly became her favorite sport. 

Our next big goal for Claire is to earn the Versatility Excellent award from the BTCA. She will achieve this upon earning the second half of her Junior Earthdog title. 

Claire enjoys snuggles, hunting for armadillos and anything involving running!
